We are a family from Wales who have recently bought a house in Torrox Pueblo in Andalusia.
It has been a longtime dream of ours to own a property in southern Spain. We would love to eventually live there either permanently or for long periods (well, that’s the plan).
We started looking for property around the Málaga area as we have close ties to the town of Nerja that is in the province. We also wanted somewhere that has a great climate, so southern Spain was an obvious choice.
On a visit to Granada we decided to spend a few days in the town of Torrox Pueblo, as we had spoken with people who mentioned what a beautiful “Pueblo Blanco” it was. It was also only an hour away from Granada and 10 minutes from Nerja.
We fell in love with the Pueblo as soon as we arrived. It helped that the coast is also just a 5 minute drive/bus away and that our two young sons also loved the area too. Within two months we had the keys to our new townhouse!
